Pets at Home wishes a Happy Valentine’s Day to the cutest celeb pet pairs

EVER wondered what Ricky Gervais, Ryan Gosling and the Queen have in common? They, along with the majority of the nation, are head over heels in love with their adorable pets.

And this Valentine’s Day Pets at Home is celebrating the top 10 celebrity pet pairings:

1. Ryan Gosling and George

2. The Queen and her Corgis

3. Russell Brand and Brian

4. Ricky Gervais and Ollie

5. Kate Middleton and Lupo

6.Sharon Osbourne and Mr Chips

7. Ed Sheeran and Graham

8. Nick Grimshaw and Puppy Power Forever

9. Millie Mackintosh and Herbie

10. Katy Perry and Kitty Purry

Ryan Gosling hit the number one spot of cutest celebrity pet pairings with his loyal companion, cross-breed canine, George. As Gosling pulls on the nation’s heartstrings, he only has eyes for one special four-legged friend who has been his wingman for nearly 13 years; George is always there for Ryan whether its work related or a trip to his local yoga class.

While some celebrities have been dedicated to their pet pals for a while, like the Queen and her beloved Corgis in the number two spot, others have recently found new companions. Russell Brand fell for his girlfriend’s gorgeous fluffy white canine, Brian, and the pair have since been spotted leaving talk show recording studios together.

Ed Sheeran and Nick Grimshaw have earned themselves a place in the top ten after kindling adorable pet matches with their rescue animals. Ed Sheeran has melted the hearts of many by saving a kitten's life and then getting him his own Twitter account @GrahamShizza

The singer announced the news to his eight million social media followers by revealing the perfect essentials for Graham’s cosy night in - a new bed and some snacks.

Scott Jefferson, marketing director at Pets at Home, said: “It’s not easy being in the spotlight so it’s no wonder these celebrities rely on their trusty, four-legged friends for company. A pet is a celebrity’s best friend and they take them everywhere – film sets, recording studios, restaurants and even yoga!

“Perhaps Ryan or Ed might like to treat their beloved companions with a special treat this Valentine’s Day to show them just how much they care.”

Pets at Home has a wide range of treats and gifts for pets this Valentine’s Day and has even created a special range of delicious heart-shaped ‘I Woof You’ rawhide treats for dogs.
