Lyssa was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Pets at Home in June 2022.

Lyssa is a highly experienced leader, most recently as Sky UK’s Chief Consumer Officer where she had end-to-end responsibility for Sky’s Consumer businesses serving more than 10 million customers and achieving over $10bn of revenue. Lyssa was also a non-executive director of Morrisons until its recent sale to CD&R and has previously held roles at McKinsey and Telewest.

Mike joined Pets at Home in September 2016 as Group Chief Financial Officer.

Mike was the Chief Financial Officer of New Look from 2014 until 2016. Prior to this, Mike held a number of finance roles at Tesco plc over a period of thirteen years, with his final position as Group Planning, Treasury and Tax Director. Before this he held finance roles with Kingfisher plc and Whitbread plc. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. Mike was recently appointed as a non-executive director at Wickes Group Plc.

Kathryn joined Pets at Home as Chief Consumer Officer following 18 years at TV and communications giant, Sky. Kathryn was a key member of a team that delivered a track record of consistent growth and transformation. In her most recent role as Chief Consumer Officer at Sky Deutschland, she helped lead the repositioning of the consumer business, implemented a data-led marketing approach, and enabled the business to reach its highest ever subscriber numbers.

William joined the business in March 2019 as Chief Information Officer. Over his career William has been at the centre of driving change in technical platforms for many blue chip companies and was most recently CIO at United Utilities where he spent the last several years leading the technology, data and business change teams.

Anja joined the business in 2024 with extensive retail experience in both the UK and Denmark, having held prominent positions at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, and most recently serving as CEO of føtex, a premier supermarket chain in Denmark. Over the course of the last 15 years, Anja has successfully led across all parts of retail operations including commercial, strategy, transformation, supply chain and operational management. Prior to this, Anja was a marketing leader at Johnson & Johnson in Europe and the Middle East following four years as a strategy consultant across a range of industries. 

Lucy joined Pets at Home in 2011 as a Solicitor and was promoted to Head of Legal of the Vet Group in 2014. She left in 2017 to join Arla Foods, the Danish dairy cooperative and one of the largest FMCG business in the UK, as Head of Legal. She returned to Pets at Home in 2019 as Group Legal Director and was appointed to the role of Company Secretary in 2020. Lucy was appointed to the role of Chief Legal Officer in 2022 and took on the role of Chief People and Legal Officer in 2023.
